Presentations

To present a scientific poster or oral presentation, please submit the title of your presentation and a one-paragraph summary (abstract) to the Program Committee via our electronic submission form (PDF), emailed to Dr. Kirk Pomper at kirk.pomper@kysu.edu or Sheri Crabtree at sheri.crabtree@kysu.edu (preferred method); or mail a printed copy of the submission form (PDF) to: Ms. Sheri Crabtree, 127 Atwood Research Facility, Kentucky State University, Frankfort, KY 40601, U.S.A.

Submission Form

Abstracts must be submitted to the Program Committee no later than July 15, 2025. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Program Committee. The Committee will determine whether the topic and content of each abstract is acceptable for presentation at the Conference. Depending on time constraints, some oral presentations may be converted to poster presentations so that they may be included in the program.

Guidelines for preparing your abstract

• Text of abstracts must be 250 words or fewer.
• Abstracts must be single-spaced throughout.
• Use a short and specific title.
• When submitting your abstract, please fill out the form as completely as possible.

Non-scientists or enthusiasts who wish to present a poster or talk on their interest in pawpaw should also submit a paragraph summary to the conference program committee so that poster space can be reserved. There is no limit to the number of posters that an author can present, but space limitation will dictate the maximum number of posters accepted for the Conference. A space 1.2 x 1.2 m (4’ x 4’) will be available for each poster presented by scientists and non-scientists.
