Bio:
Jens Hannemann joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Kentucky as a post-doctoral scholar, working on full-wave electromagnetic simulation of mixed-signal integrated microwave circuits. From 2004 through 2012, he worked as a researcher and professor at the Center for Visualization and Virtual Environments in Lexington, KY, USA. He joined the Division of Computer Science at the Kentucky State University as an Assistant Professor to help establish the video game development degree program. His main research interests include distributed and parallel audio signal and multimedia processing for immersive virtual environments as well as cross-platform mobile game design and development. Dr. Hannemann is a Senior Member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer and Signal Processing Societies.
